Reema Lagoo, who was currently seen on the hit TV show “Naamkaran” passed away on Thursday (May 18) morning due to cardiac arrest. The 59-year-old actress had shot for her new promo “Naamkarann” recently on Monday (May 15).
The actress was shooting for the show till 7 PM yesterday (May 17) and had left for home after wrapping up the shoot. “Naamkarann” producers have called off the shoot of the show today.
Reema Lagoo’s on screen son Viraf Patel aka Ashish Mehta still can’t believe the news.
Viraf burst into tears while talking to TOI over the phone. He said, “I was just talking to a colleague from ‘Naamkarann’ and got to know that she was working till last evening. I can’t believe that she is no more with us. She was such a hardworking and meticulous lady. She was one of the most gorgeous ladies that I have ever met. She was majestic at her work and we all used to blush just looking at her when she used to give her shots. It is a heartbreaking news for me.”
