Actress Mahima Chaudhary finally opens up about her viral photos!

Bollywood actress Mahima Chaudhary is away from limelight for a long time. She is not even seen attending any Bollywood events or parties.

But few days ago, Mahima’s latest picture went viral on internet and her fans went curious to see her shocking transformation from fit to fat.

The actress was clicked in Mumbai and the photographs got everyone curious about how much has the female star changed since her Bollywood debut two decades ago.

Wearing a black cold shoulder top short dress with her hair left loose, Mahima could hardly be recognized in those snaps.

Now, the actress finally opens up about her viral pictures. Recently, Mahima talks with mid day and she said that the industry doesn’t provide good roles to senior female actors and thus she has now decided to stay away.

Talking about her absence from the big screen, Mahima Chaudhary says she prefers to do nothing rather than being a part of mediocre work.

“I was a single mother and had to earn money. With a child, it was difficult to take up films, as it would have consumed a lot of time. I started judging a few television shows, making appearances at functions or cutting ribbons because it was convenient for me. It also gave me quick and good money. Now, when I look back, I feel those assignments ruined me as an actress.” she said.

The actress had made her acting debut at the age of 24 in 1997 film Pardes opposite Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan.

Nevertheless, Mahima has successful films such as Daag, Dhadkan, Dil Kya Kare, Baghban, etc to her credit as a supporting actress. She was last seen on the silver screen in 2016 film Dark Chocolate.

Mahima Chaudhary married architect-businessman Bobby Mukherji in 2006. The couple have a daughter, Ariana. But things didn’t go the way and the couple divorced in 2013.

Mahima Chaudhary says she hasn’t considered a divorce yet. “I don’t have the time. On a serious note, we haven’t really given it a thought as it isn’t bothering us. I will go in for a divorce if I plan to get married again.”
