The official trailer of Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar’s upcoming film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is out. The makers unveiled the trailer during the innings break of the ICC Champions Trophy match between India and South Africa.
Toilet: Ek Prem Katha deals with the story of a married couple Keshav (Akshay) and Jaya (Bhumi), who go against all odds to spread awareness about sanitation in their village. They take up a battle against open defecation by building toilets. Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is inspired by Prime Minister Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

The film stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role, with Bhumi Pednekar alongside. Sana Khan is also featuring as Akshay Kumar’s girlfriend in the film. Anupam Kher is also present in a prominent role.
Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, the film is scheduled to release on August 11 this year.
