‘Andaz Apna Apna’ director Rajkumar Santoshi admitted to hospital following a cardiac-related complaint!

Bollywood film director Rajkumar Santoshi has been admitted to a hospital in Mumbai following some cardiac-related issues.

The filmmaker was reportedly facing difficulty in breathing, and extreme discomfort. When he was brought in to the hospital, the doctors, after conducting preliminary tests, decided that an angioplasty surgery was urgent.

Later, doctors performed an angioplasty on him following which his condition was better.

The Andaz Apna Apna director was earlier spotted joining the Kapoor family in mourning.

Rajkumar Santoshi is famous for directing blockbuster hits such as Andaz Apna Apna, The Legend of Bhagat Singh and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.

Speaking about his new collaboration, Santoshi has teamed up with Aanand L Rai for Aanand’s production outfit Colour Yellow.

 Rajkumar Santoshi is currently helming a film based on the Battle of Saragarhi with Randeep Hooda in the lead.
