Sony TV’s historical saga, ‘Peshwa Bajirao’ has managed to not only garner rave reviews for the presentation of the saga, but has also been appreciated for the actors’ fantastic performances. Very soon, show will take a huge leap in the story. With major development, characters will change in the show.
TV actress Anuja Sathe who played the role of Bajirao’s mother, is going to say goodbye to the show. Actress has been replaced by Rajeshwari Sachdev, who will now be seen in the role of Radha Bai, but the historic drama will continue to be a part of her family.

Her husband, Sauraabh Gokhaale, is entering the show and will be playing Chima. He says, “Being a history lover and a Puneite, it’s an honour to play Chimaji Appa. I’m a die-hard fan of the Peshwa history, especially Bajirao. They have contributed hugely in shaping the history of Maharashtra.”
The actor, who featured with his wife in a Marathi show in 2010, would have loved to reunite with her in a Hindi serial. He says, “We know each other’s working style and there’s also the added advantage of getting to spend more time together. But there wasn’t a suitable character for me in the show before the time leap.”
Also, TV actor Karan Suchak, who is popular for doing mythological shows like “Siya Ke Ram” and “Mahabharat” will be young Peshwa Bajirao of the show.
The role of Bajirao’s love interest and wife Kashi Bai will be played by TV actress Ishita Ganguly.
