Anupam Kher copies walking style of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in this latest video, watch

Bollywood actor Anupam Kher is currently shooting for his upcoming film ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ in London.

Earlier, the actor’s first look as former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh leaves everyone spell bound. And now, a video from the sets is doing rounds on social media.

In the video, we can see Anupam Kher getting off the stairs and walking exactly like Manmohan Singh. Sporting a blue pagdi, spotless white kurta pajama and a dark blue Nehru jacket, the actor replicate Dr Singh’s mannerism like the way he keeps his hands and the manner in which he even walks.

Kher took to Twitter to share the video after he found it all over on social media. He wrote: “This clip was sent to me by various people. So someone captured it & posted it while I was rehearsing. It is from our shoot of #TheAccidentalPrimeMinister in UK. So instead of you finding it on various platforms I am happy to share it with you all myself. #PowerOfSocialMedia (sic).”

Speaking about his role in the film, Anupam Kher earlier said, “The opportunity of portraying a contemporary personality like Dr Manmohan Singh in The Accidental Prime Minister is an immense challenge for me as an actor. He is part of a 24/7 media era where world knows his persona minutely. I have been internalizing this character for the past few months. I look forward to translating that effort into cinematic reality.”

Directed by newcomer Vijay Ratnakar Gutte, The Accidental Prime Minister will be an onscreen adaptation of Sanjay Baru’s book of the same name, who served as the media adviser to the former Prime Minister.

The film will star Anupam Kher as former PM Manmohan Sing, Akshaye Khanna as political commentator Sanjay Baru, Suzanne Bernert as Sonia Gandhi. While, the role of Priyanka Gandhi will be played by Aahana Kumra of the ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’ fame.

The film is expected to release on December 21.
