Avneet Kaur joins the cast of Star Plus’ show ‘Chandra Nandni’

Television actress Avneet Kaur who started her career with ‘Dance India Dance Li’l Masters’ as a contestant made her acting debut with 2012 Life OK’s drama ‘Meri Maa’. 

Avneet has been roped in to play the role of Charumati in popular TV show ‘Chandra Nandni’. Avneet will be seen as the wife of actor Siddharth Nigam, who plays Bindusara.

“When I auditioned for Charumati, I wasn’t sure if I will bag the role. But the makers were very impressed and I started shooting immediately. Siddharth is a great guy and we get along really well. I’m very happy to be back to doing what I love,” Avneet said in a statement.

As per the latest reports, Avneet will also be seen in an upcoming movie, based on kids. Avneet has bagged a prominent role in an upcoming movie Chidiyaghar which is being produced by Children’s Film Society and directed by Manish Tiwari. The movie will focus on promoting football amongst the kids in India. The story will revolve around a kid Suraj (played by Rithvik Sahure) and Avneet will play the role of Mili, the bestie to Suraj. Mili will be very close to Suraj and will be a tomboyish typical Maharashtrian girl.

Kaur started her filming career with the 2014 Pradeep Sarkar’s Hindi film ‘Mardaani’, in which she was cast as the niece of Rani Mukerji’s character.
