Actress Deepika Padukone was recently complimented by colleague, fellow actress Katrina Kaif, for her stunning appearance in the title song of ‘Raabta’, starring Sushanth Singh Rajput And Kriti Sanon in the lead role.
The ‘Raabta’ title track is a reprised version of the original song by the same name from the 2012 film ‘Agent Vinod’ starring Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. In the music video, Deepika sets the screen on fire by grooving in a gorgeous black cut-out dress with thigh-high slits.
Now, Deepika has said the compliments Katrina Kaif gave her, for her look in the song from ‘Raabta,’ makes her feel good.
The 31-year-old actress has thanked Katrina for her honest review, saying: “I think compliments are always great especially when it comes from your contemporaries it is even better. Thank you for that. I have always appreciated and admired her in her life and career,” reported PTI.

This comes as a surprise, especially after the two didn’t share good vibes because of actor Ranbir Kapoor. In 2013, Deepika Padukone dated and broke up with Ranbir Kapoor, who was also seeing Katrina Kaif until sometime last year. Talking about Katrina’s journey in Bollywood, Deepika added “I am sure it’s not been an easy journey and I have always appreciated and admired that,” Deepika said.
This sweet exchange between the two is sure to put those nasty rivalry rumours to rest.
On the work front, Deepika is currently working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial Padmavati opposite Shahid Kapoor. Her alleged boyfriend Ranveer Singh is also a part of this film.
Katrina Kaif, who recently join social networking site Facebook is awaiting the release of her new film with Ranbir Kapoor “Jagga Jasoos” and is also shooting for “Tiger Zinda Hai”.
