The two countries may have been embroiled in political rivalries, but when it comes to cricket, it seems there is mutual respect between the Indian and the Pakistan cricketers.

The Indian cricket team suffered a huge defeat against Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy final on Sunday as Pakistan got the better of their arch rivals after eight long years.

However, the rivalry was keep aside by Indian stars like MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh who posed with Pakistan batsman Azhar Ali’s children. The pictures showcased how the two teams had left all their patriotism and rivalry on the fields and sparked friendship off of it!

While the Men in Blue got clicked with the little ones, Azhar Ali could not control his excitement and took to Twitter to share the pictures. His heartfelt ‘thank you’ tweet to the legends for spending time with his children will move you.

“Thanks to these legends for sparing their time for my kids they were so happy,” Azhar Ali says on Twitter. His tweet is accompanied with pictures of Dhoni, Virat and Yuvraj posing along with his sons.
