FIR filed against Jeetendra for sexually assaulting his cousin sister 47 years ago!

After a complaint was lodged against Jeetendra by her cousin for sexually assaulting her 47 years ago, now Shimla Police have registered an FIR against the veteran actor.

Shimla’s Superintendent of Police Umapati Jamwal told the daily, “An FIR under section 354 IPC has been registered at Chotta Shimla police station. After her email, we got in touch with the complainant, who later had also sent us a written complaint to support her version.” The complainant will now record her statement before a magistrate and will also provide evidence of her stay in the hotel.

The incident reportedly took place in 1971 when the victim was 18 and Jeetendra was 28 and the actor “arranged” for the survivor to join him from New Delhi to Shimla on the set of his movie without her “awareness”.

The complainant has claimed that on the night they reached Shimla, Jeetendra returned to the room in an inebriated state, joined the two separate beds and sexually assaulted her.

The victim took almost 47 years to file a complaint against the actor as she didn’t want her parents (who are deceased now) to be heart broken back in the day.

While, in a statement issued in Mumbai, Jeetendra’s advocate Rizwan Siddiquee said the allegation was “baseless and ridiculous”.
