TV actress Panchi Bora who became a household name after the portrayal of a homely girl Prachi in Ekta Kapoor’s 2007 hit show ‘Kayamath‘ recently tied the nuptial knot in a very hush hush ceremony.
The actress got hitched to Jaydeep, a non-industry person, on 17 January. It came as a surprise for us as we came across a few wedding pictures that the actress shared on her social networking account.
It was an arranged marriage and Panchi was dressed as the traditional Assamese bride. Panchi looked radiant in a white and gold outfit, which are the colours of a typical bride of the region. The marriage was an intimate affair.

The ceremony, attended by close family and friends was organised in the classic Assamese way.
Shares a source, “It was an arranged married. The two met and found a connect. Eventually wedding bells were sounded off.”
