Kapil’s Bua aka Upasana Singh molested by taxi driver, files police complaint

In a shocking turn of events, Kapil’s Bua aka Upasana Singh was recently molested by a taxi driver in Zirakpur, Chandigarh on Sunday.

It all happened, when the actress was on her way back to the hotel. The actress alleged that the taxi driver, identified as Vivek, drove her to a dark, deserted stretch at 10 pm in the night. Upasana immediately called the police control room.

Police immediately reached the spot and arrested the accused. Upasana was escorted by the police to her hotel in a separate vehicle.

On Monday, the taxi driver confessed to the crime and tended a written apology to the actress. Later, Upasana withdrew her complaint after the written apology. She left for Mumbai on Monday afternoon.

Upasana became a household name with the show Kapil Sharma’s show ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’. She is popular for her onscreen style and Punjabi and funny English dialogue delivery. She has done numerous Bollywood films as well as regional cinema such as Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Rajasthani and Gujarati.
