Kamya Punjabi organised a prayer meet for Pratyusha Banerjee on her first death anniversary

On April 1, 2016 Pratyusha Banerjee, was found hanging from her apartment in suburban Mumbai, allegedly amid immense emotional trauma. The death of the Balika Vadhu star took the telly world by storm, and left her parents and friends grief-stricken.

On her first death anniversary, a prayer meet was held at a suburban venue, which was organised by Pratyusha’s best friend Kamya Punjabi and stylist, Nikhat Nerushaaa.

Pratyusha’s parents Soma and Shankar Banerjee were also there.

However, the event did have attendance from many of Pratyusha’s other friends like Adaa Khan, Ssara Khan or Vikas Gupta. Her Balika Vadhu co-star Shashank Vyas was also missing.

Kamya, who was joined by Pratyusha’s parents Soma and Shankar Banerjee and her stylist friend Nikhat Nerushaaa, could not keep her emotions under check and broke down at the service.
