Later, Kapil Sharma stated at an event that banning someone will not solve any issue which didn’t go down well with the trolls.

Now, Krushna Abhishek has reacted to the whole controversy and the report of Archana Puran Singh replacing Navjot Singh Sidhu.

Krushna Abhishek finally breaks his silence

At a recent media event, Krushna was quoted saying by DNA, “I don’t know what’s going on but currently the country’s atmosphere is not right. Everyone is mourning. We have already shot a few episodes with Archana Puran Singh. But, Archana has told some media house that she hasn’t yet signed the full contract. I would only be able to comment after having a word with the channel”, he said.

When asked about the Boycott Kapil Sharma trend after the ace comedian defended Navjot Singh Sidhu, Krushna said, “I don’t know what Kapil has said and what statement he has given. I don’t even have any knowledge about Kapil’s boycott on Twitter”.

And when asked about the ban on Pakistani artistes imposed by Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) and AICWA (All Indian Cine Workers), Krushna added, “It’s good. Ashoke Pandit and team have made the right decision. If Salman Khan has decided to drop Atif Aslam from his film then I fully support his stand.”

The whole controversy started after Navjot Singh Sidhu made some comment on Pakistan after the Pulwama terror attack in which India lost more than 40 CRPF jawans.
