PM Narendra Modi’s biopic is one of the much-awaited biopic of the year. Actor Vivek Oberoi will play the lead role in the film.
Now, we are hearing that actor Manoj Joshi has been roped in to play the role of Amit Shah, who shares a special bond with the PM.
Talking to News18 about featuring in the movie, Joshi shared, “I am glad that I have got an opportunity to play the role of Mr Amit Shah in the film. When Sandeep Ssingh called me to offer this role, I did not think for a second and said yes. This is going to be one of the most interesting characters for me to play.”

On casting Joshi, producer Sandip Ssingh shares, “This was one of the important roles in the film and I feel nobody better than Manoj Joshi could have done it. He is one of the finest actors and when I called him for the role, he immediately agreed. He is a very passionate actor and he is working really hard for his character. It is a great experience working with him and I hope the audience will like his work as well.”
Indian film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared Joshi’s first look as the character, on his Twitter handle and wrote, “Well-known theatre and film actor Manoj Joshi to portray #AmitShah in #PMNarendraModi… Vivek Anand Oberoi essays the title role… Omung Kumar B directs the biopic… Produced by Suresh Oberoi and Sandip Ssingh… Here’s the first look:” (sic).

The biopic will trace Modi’s journey from a tea-seller to assuming the office of the Prime Minister of India.
Apart from Vivek, the film also stars Boman Irani, Suresh Oberoi, Zarina Wahab, Darshan Kumar and Barkha Bisht.
Directed by Omung Kumar and co-produced by Ssingh and Suresh Oberoi, this film will be shot in Gujarat, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
