Meet television couples whose relationship lasted for less than a year!

Relationships are sensitive and it’s hard getting into them, and harder leaving them. There have been some serious breakups in the last few decades of the TV industry which lasted for less than a year. So, take a look at the couple whose relationship lasted for less than a year.

1. Roopal Tyagi and Ankit Gera

Ankit and Roopal met on the sets of the show ‘Sapne Suhaane Ladakpan Ke’. The duo parted their ways because Ankit was with Roopal and Adaa Khan at the same time. The two broke-off less than a year and are no longer on talking terms.

2. Kushal Tandon and Gauhar Khan

Television actor Kushal Tandon and Gauhar Khan became one of India’s most loved television couples when they confessed their love for each other during Bigg Boss 7.  They continued to be together for almost a year, but after sometime, Kushal took to Twitter to announce that the couple was no longer together. The reason for their breakup is reportedly because Gauhar pressurised Kushal to change his religion.

3. Karan V Grover and Kavita Kaushik

Karan V Grover and Kavita Kaushik, one of the most popular jodis of TV. It’s a well-known fact that Kavita Kaushik and Karan Grover first met at a hotel and later at a Christmas party. They also  entertained one and all in Nach Baliye. But, their relationship does not work and they cannot stand one another and parted ways.

4. Sriti Jha and Harshad Chopra

Harshad and Sriti fell in love with each other on the sets of “Dil Se Di Dua…Saubhagyavati Bhava” but their relationship lasted less than a year. It has also been said that Sriti’s growing proximity with Harshad’s best friend and “Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha” actor Kunal Karan Kapoor is the reason behind their separation.

5. Shraddha Arya and Jayant Ratti 

Television actress Shraddha Arya who is currently seen as Preeta in TV show ‘Kundali Bhagya’ got engaged to a US-based businessman Jayant Ratti in a close-knit ceremony at New Delhi. But they called off their relation in less than a year.

6. Vishal Aditya Singh and Shivangi Joshi

 Vishal Aditya Singh and Shivangi Joshi, who play Lakhan and Poonam on the show ‘Begusarai’ were once in a relationship with each other. But, they never comes out in open about their relationship and called off their relationship in less than a year.

7. Karan Patel and Amita Chandekar

Karan Patel and Amita Chandekar seemed like a much-in-love couple on the sets of “Nach Baliye” season 3, soon after the show ended, their relationship, too, saw its end. In fact, after the show was over, Karan went on to say that he was never in a relationship with Amita! This caused a huge disappointment among their fans for faking their relationship for the reality show.

8. Kapil Nirmal and Anjali Abrol

These “Nach Baliye” season 4 contestants, Kapil Nirmal and Anjali Abrol’s love affair came to an end after the show was over. Talking about her breakup, Anjali said, “I guess our relationship had passed its time. We were not destined to be together. Once the above show ended, our interactions and meetings started to reduce, and distances began to creep up.”

9. Naman Shaw and Megha Gupta

It was rumored that “Nach Baliye” season 4 participants, Naman Shaw and Megha Gupta, faked their love affair for the show. Well, whatever the truth, the couple was no longer together once the show was over.
