Bollywood actor Milind Soman and girlfriend Ankita Konwar finally tied the knot on April 22 in Alibaug. The wedding was an intimate affair, with only family and close friends attending the ceremony.
The wedding held as per Assamese and Marathi cultures as Ankita is from Assam and Milind is a Maharashtrian. Well, the couple have a special love for the environment.
On the occasion of Earth Day, the two planted saplings in the Alibaug resort as a gesture to thank their guests for being a part of their wedding festivities.
The duo have planted 24 trees at the place and hope to do more in their next visit. Milind posted the picture where they can be seen sapling a plant. Ankita is half of Milind’s age. Milind’s relationship with Ankita came to the forefront, when he openly started expressing his affections for the lady on Instagram.
This is Milind’s second marriage, after having divorced Mylene Jampanoi, a French actress, in 2009.
