India’s Manushi Chhillar has won the Miss World beauty pageant for the year 2017. The newly crowned Miss World returned to the country after making the nation proud.
Om Monday morning, Manushi visited Mumbai’s popular Siddhivinayak Temple with her family to seek blessings and expresses her gratitude of Lord Ganesha.

Chhillar is the sixth Indian woman to win Miss World, and the first since Priyanka Chopra won Miss World 2000.
Notably, Manushi is a medical student from Rohtak, Haryana. Her father, Dr Mitrabasu Chhillar, is an endocrinologist at the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS), Delhi, and mother, Dr Neelam Chhillar, is a doctor at the Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences (IHBAS), Delhi.
