10 Most awaited bollywood movies of second half of the year!

The first half of 2017 was a rather average affair for Bollywood. Bollywood has entertained us with some good movies like Bahubali 2, Jolly LLB 2, Raees, Hindi Medium, Badrinath Ki Dulhania etc. And, there are a lot of other promising movies lined up for the year too. Let’s have a look at the most awaited Bollywood movies of second half of the year 2017.

1Tiger Zinda Hai

Tiger Zinda Hai is an upcoming Indian film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. It is the sequel to the 2012 movie Ek Tha Tiger and the second installment of Tiger film series. It is scheduled to be released on 22 December 2017. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif reunited for the film.

2. Jab Harry Met Sejal

Jab Harry Met Sejal is an upcoming Indian romantic comedy film written and directed by Imtiaz Ali. It features Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. This film marks the third collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma after Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008) and Jab Tak Hai Jaan. The film is scheduled to release on 4 August 2017.

 

3. Toilet Ek Prem Katha

The film is a satirical comedy film in support of Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, a governmental campaign to improve the sanitation conditions in India, with emphasis on the eradication of open defecation in public areas, especially in the rural areas of India. Akshay Kumar, Bhumi Pednekar and Anupam Kher will be seen in the lead roles. The film is slated to release on 11 August, 2017.

4. Padmavati 

The film is a period drama based on the story of Queen Padmavati’s real life. The film features Deepika Padukone in the title role as Rani Padmini, alongside Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Jim Sarbh and Aditi Rao Hydari. It is currently scheduled for release on 17 November 2017.

5. Judwaa 2

Sequel to the 1997 comedy hit ‘Judwaa’ starring Salman Khan in a double role, the sequel will feature Varun Dhawan as a replacement to Salman. Directed by Dad David Dhawan, the movie is slated to release on 29th September 2017.
