Finally! the much awaited trailer of Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai and Rajkummar Rao starrer ‘Fanney Khan’ has been released.
The trailer revolves aroundAnil Kapoor seems to be playing a middle-class father, an auto driver, who wants to fulfill the singing aspirations of his daughter who fears she she will never make it big, as she is overweight. The girl gets body shamed because of her heavy weight. To fulfill his daughter dreams, Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s kidnaps a famous singer Baby Singh (Aishwarya Rai) for money.
The film is the Hindi adaptation of the 2000 Dutch release Everybody’s Famous directed by Dominique Deruddere, which was also nominated in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 73rd Academy Awards.
[ecp code=”4″]It marks Aishwarya and Anil Kapoor’s collaboration after 17 years. The two last shared screen space in Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai.
Directed by Atul Manjrekar and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and nominees of ROMP, the film is slated to hit theatres on August 3.
