After ‘Baahubali’, Rana Daggubati all set to play a unique role in ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’

Rana Daggubati delivered a kick-ass performance in ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ and ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’. He played the role of Bhallaladeva and his negative avatar was highly praised by celebs, critics and yes, by the movie buffs as well.

And after giving a power-packed performance Rana Daggubati is all set to seen  in Nene Raju Nene Mantri. Written and directed by Teja, the film is almost ready and will be simultaneously released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.

As per reports, Rana will essay the character of a ruthless politician in this upcoming flick.

‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’ is perfect and chiselled to delight everyone, I always admired Teja’s hunger for brilliance and this one is turning out to be a compelling and thought-provoking film,” Rana said.

Giving a brief idea about the film’s storyline director Teja revealed to TOI, “In day to day world, we remain non-responsive to many happenings around us. We have been addicted to such careless living style. But, there will be one person who rises to the situation and Rana will be seen in the role of hero, Jogendra. This forms NRNM’s (Nene Raju Nene Mantri) basic storyline.”

Actresses Kajal Aggarwal and Catherine Tresa are the two leading ladies of this film produced by Daggubati Suresh Babu. Bollywood actor Ashutosh Rana will be seen in a negative avatar.

The title of ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’ was released today in Hyderabad. It is produced by Rana’s father Suresh Daggubati who said, “After hearing Tejas script, I felt that it will be a character which will present Rana in a whole new avatar with immense diversity.”

Meanwhile, Rana’s ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ continues its dream run at the box office even on its fifth week. So far, the film has grossed Rs 1600 crore worldwide and will soon have a release in China, where superstar Aamir Khan’s “Dangal” opened to a unanimous positive response.
