After months of hard work and struggle the second season of the show ‘Rising Star’ has finally get its winner. Yes, according to reports, Hemant Brijwasi becomes the winner of the show.
Along with the title, Hemant also won a cash prize of Rs. 20 lakh. While, Rohapreet becomes the runner-up whereas Vishnumaya emerged as the second runner-up.

Nine years ago, Hemant won the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs in 2009, a Zoom report says. He was a participant in India’s Got Talent in 2016 and Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar 2 as well.
The second season of the show saw Shankar Mahadevan, Monali Thakur and Diljit Dosanjh as judges and it was hosted by Ravi Dubey.
The second season was based on the theme of Uthao Soch Ki Deewar, showcasing the struggles faced by the courageous and talented contestants who fight stereotypes and shatter prejudices to get on stage.
