It seems like, Kapil Sharma does not seem to be having a good time these days. The star comedian, recently released home production ‘Firangi’ didn’t performed well at the box office.
But the leaves no stone unturned to promote his film. He even organised a special screening of the film for friends and colleagues in the film industry. But his WhatsApp invite didn’t go well with Farah.
Farah had expressed her displeasure. According to her Kapil should have at least made a call, rather than just sending a Whatsapp invite. She had even taken to Twitter calling him ‘mannerless people’.
“Dear Mannerless people,if u want me 2 attend ur premier/preview/party DON,T send me a ” janta invite” on WhatsApp! U r not doing me a favour! The least u can do is make a personal call. If u cant find the time for it what makes u think i hav time 2 get ready n cm for you??!,” Farah posted on her social media handle.

Well, when the comedian-turned-actor Kapil Sharma got to know about it, he was a bit shocked. In a statement to skjbollywoodnews.com, he said, “We had a show on Thursday. In whatever way I thought correct I had invited all my friends from the film industry. It was mostly attended by cast crew and our friends and family. I hope my big powerful friends in the film industry will see the film later.”
Firangi director Rajiev Dhingra too defended Kapil and said, “I don’t understand this negativity surrounding Kapil. Why is he being treated like this? Could it be he has offended important people by just being who he is? Even the reviews for Firangi are pretty harsh.I don’t think we deserve such condemnation.”
