Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband Sunjay Kapur tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Priya Sachdev in a quiet ceremony in Delhi on April 13. The ceremony was a hush-hush affair for which only family members and closest of friends were present.
After a registered marriage in Delhi, Sunjay Kapur and Priya Sachdev had a grand reception in New York.
Sunjay threw a lavish party in one of the poshest hotels of New York for their friends, colleagues and relatives. And it’s being said that the celebrations are still on.
The couple looked picture-perfect in their royal attires. While Priya chose a soothing white gown, Sunjay opted for a light shade bandhgala.
But an insider says that it was his shoes that got everyone’s attention. Sanjay’s shoes stole the show, as they were hand embroidered with the words ‘I Do’, it was a lovely touch!”

The reception was at The NoMad Hotel in New York.
Interestingly, Sanjay and Priya met in New York for the first time and started dating since.
The beautiful celebrations was held at The Nomad Hotel in Midtown Manhattan, the decor had a Japanese cherry blossom theme and the speeches were lovely.
For those who don’t know this is Sachdev’s second trip down the aisle — she married hotelier Vikram Chatwal in 2006 — and the third for Kapur, who was married to fashion designer Nandita Mahtani and then actress Karisma Kapoor.
Karisma Kapoor too is in a relationship with Mumbai-based Sandeep Toshniwal whom she introduced to her family on the occasion of her dad’s birthday recently.
