Ekta Kapoor’s romantic saga ‘Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2′ is in the news since the promo of the show has released. Meanwhile, the makers are currently busy roping in the talented actors for playing crucial roles.
Erica Fernandes will be seen playing the role of Prerna in the show. While, it is yet to reveal who is playing Anurag Basu.
Recently, there were news doing the rounds that ‘Badho Bahu’ actress Antara Banerjee will be seen as Erica Fernandes aka Prerna’s sister-in-law and now, according to latest reports, Raees actor Uday Tikekar will be seen playing the role of Anurag’s father in the show.
[ecp code=”4″]The actor was last seen on the small screen in Colors TV’s Krishnadasi, where he portrayed the role of Pradhyumna Vidyadhar Rao. The actor has also appeared in several Bollywood films like ‘Raees’, ‘Barfi ‘ and ‘Golmaal Returns’.
‘Kasautii Zindagi Kay’ season 1 launched in 2001 and starred Shweta Tiwari and Cezanne Khan in the lead roles as Prerna and Anurag. In no time, the serial with a Bengali backdrop went on to become a massive hit with the audience lapping up on the romance of the couple. While, Urvashi Dholakia played the vicious Komolika, and her style and swag made her character an iconic one.
Well, we are damn excited to see the love story of Anurag and Prerna once again.
