1. Rita Bhaduri


Veteran bollywood actress Rita Bhaduri who has appeared in many television shows and films has recently passes away on Monday after fighting kidney-related ailment for last few days. She was 62. The actress was admitted at an ICU for the past 10 days in Mumbai and had to go for dialysis every alternate day. Rita Bhaduri has worked in over 20 TV shows, which includes Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai, Amanat, Kumkum, Ek Nayi Pehchaan, Amanat, Ek Mahal Ho Sapnon Ka etc. Her films credit included Hero No 1, Virasat, Raja, Julie, Beta, Dil Vil Pyar Vyar and many other films. Currently, she was seen playing the role of Imarti Devi in Nimki Mukhiya.

2. Shashi Kapoor

Legendary actor breathed his last at Kolkilaben Ambani Hospital on December 4, 2017.  The 79-year-old actor passed away after a prolonged illness. Shashi Kapoor had been suffering from a kidney ailment and had been undergoing dialysis. Mr Kapoor had been on a wheelchair for years. The veteran actor’s sudden demise was a huge shock for his family and his industry colleagues. Through the 1970s and 80s, Shashi Kapoor rose to stardom with films like Sharmilee, Kabhi Kabhie, Pighalta Aasmaan, etc.

3. Sitaram Panchal

Bollywood actor Sitaram Panchal, best known for his performance in Irrfan Khan’s Paan Singh Tomar, passed away on 10 August, 2017 after a three-year long battle with kidney and lung cancer. He was 54. Panchal worked with Akshay Kumar (Jolly LLB 2), Irrfan Khan (Paan Singh Tomar) and several other A-listers of the industry. Sitaram has also worked in Bandit Queen, Slumdog Millionnaire, Peepli Live and The Legend of Bhagat Singh.

4. Deven Varma

One of the Bollywood’s best comedian Deven Verma who was working in some of the most memorable movies of Bollywood like ‘Dil To Pagal Hai, Ishq’, ‘Kya Kehna’, ‘Dil’, ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ etc. He passed away on 2 December 2014 in Pune following a heart attack and kidney failure. He is still considered one of Bollywood’s best comedian.
