Star Plus’ popular show “Naamkarann” (helmed by Mahesh Bhatt and Guroudev Bhalla & Dhaval Gada) is all set to take a generation leap very soon. With this development, we will see a lot of new and fresh faces in the show which will give a new side to the story.
The talented kid Arsheen Inamdar aka Avni will bid adieu to the show, with her sailing through the formative years and gaining maturity.
The role of grown up Avni will be played by TV’s popular actress Sonal Vengurlekar, is what we have learnt.
Sonal Vengurlekar was last seen in Zee TV’ show “Yeh Vaada Raha”, also known for her role of Devyani in daily soap “Shastri Sisters” on Colors.

Sonal’s entry aims to pep up the plot and bring in eyeballs.
Furthermore, Nalini Negi (Doli Armaano Ki fame) will also join the show as grown up Riya (Avni’s cousin sister). She will play the role of grown up Riya (daughter of Ketan (Puru Chibber)).
It is yeat to be confirmed if the other star cast including Viraf Patel (Ashish Mehta), Reema Laagoo (Daya ben) and Sayantni Ghosh (Neela) will stay in the show after the leap.
