Post the ‘Baahubali 2’ mania, Prabhas is one of the most coveted actors across industries. All eyes are now on his next ambitious project – ‘Saaho’. This is his first project after ‘Baahubali’.
While The movie went on floors with Prabhas on board, the female lead took some time to finalised. Initially, Anushka Shetty was to be part of Saaho but as we informed you, the actress’ alleged weight issues was a bone of contention for the makers. t. Several actresses were int he running, Pooja Hegde especially. The search has finally ended as Shradhha Kapoor has been finalized for the part.
The makers have now confirmed the same. In a statement, the producers said, “Shraddha is absolutely the perfect choice for the role. We are very excited to have her on board with us.”
They further added, “Saaho is Prabhas’s first film being shot in Hindi and so it’s very special for all of us. It is a highly ambitious project and there will be some really high octane action scenes in the film.”
[ecp code=”4″]The Bollywood debut of Prabhas had been the most anticipated topics for the audience. Saaho will mark the Hindi debut of the Baahubali star as the trilingual film will be simultaneously shot in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
The film will be shot across Abu Dhabi, Europe, Mumbai and Hyderabad. Prabhas starts filming for the same from mid-August. A massive set has been erected for Saaho in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.
Saaho will also see Neil Nitin Mukesh playing the antagonist. The teaser of the film was released with Baahubali: The Conclusion and looks spectacular. Saaho will showcase high-octane action sequences for which the makers have roped in a world acclaimed action choreographer. Written and directed by Sujeeth, Saaho will hit the screens next year.
