After making a debut with “Hero” in 2015, Sooraj Pancholi did appear on screen but only in some singles. There were some unofficial reports about his next projects but nothing materialized.
Now after 2 years of debut in industry the actor has signed his second Hindi film to be directed by iconic choreographer Prabhudeva. An action comedy which is a remake of a South film will be produced by Bhushan Kumar & Prashant Gunjalkar.
Taking to Twitter, the actor wrote, “Yes, it’s official! ? Cant wait to work with you @prabhudheva sir. I have grown up watching you! Thank u for all the inspiration you have given us!”

Rather than rushing into things and signing galore of films, Sooraj Pancholi chose to wait for the right script that can showcase his talent to the fullest. Recently, Sooraj Pancholi gave his nod to the Prabhu Dheva’s (untitled) action-comedy, which will go on the floors in September this year.
Sooraj’s first film Hero, which was produced and promoted by Salman, received an average response from critics and fans alike at the box office.
But now, looks like things are on the move again. Although Sooraj got to display his action skills in Hero, this time, he will get to tickle the audience’s funny bone as well.
Before making his Bollywood debut the actor made headlines with the Jiah Khan’s murder case. The actor was dating Jiah Khan for a long time and after the actress committed suicide, she left a note hinting towards Sooraj. The actor was not held guilty regarding the same.
