Rajpal Yadav sentenced to 6 months jail in a cheque bounce case!

Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav sentenced to six months in prison by a Delhi court on Monday in a cheque bounce case. He was later granted bail in the case.


There were reportedly seven cases against the actor and he has to pay Rs 1.60 crore fine per case.

Actor Rajpal Yadav, his wife Radha Yadav and their company Messrs Shree Naurang Godavari Entertainment convicted in a Rs 5 crore loan recovery case.

The case dates back to 2010, actor Rajpal Yadav and his wife Radha borrowed a loan for Yadav’s Hindu debut directional movie Ata Pata Laapata from a Delhi-based entrepreneur, MG Agarwal (owner of Murli Projects). The film was released in 2012, but Rajpal did not repay his loan.

The businessman files a case against the couple in the high court after they couldn’t repay him.

In 2013, Yadav was sent to a judicial custody for 10 days after he tried to hide facts about the case. The Karkardooma court had also ordered the attachment of the assets and a company owned by the couple.

In 2015, Rajpal Yadav declared in the court that Rs 1.58 crore had been paid back. The remaining amount of Rs 3.42 crore would be repaid in 30 days as a new company was ready to take up the responsibility of his loan.
