Ram Avatar Bhardawaj to play Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Anupam Kher’s The Accidental Prime Minister!

Bollywood actor Anupam Kher is currently shooting of his upcoming film ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’. The actor will be seen playing the role of former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in the film.

After introducing Divya Seth as Manmohan Singh’s wife Gursharan Kaur, now Anupam Kher introduces Ram Avatar Bhardawaj who will play the role of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

The actor shared the news with a photograph of himself and Ram Avatar Bhardawaj dressed in their respective looks in the film and he captioned the pic as, “Introducing Shri. Ram Avatar Bhardawaj as former Prime Minister #AtalBihariVajpayeeji in the movie #TheAccidentalPrimeMinister. @TAPMofficial”

Directed by newcomer Vijay Ratnakar Gutte, The Accidental Prime Minister will be an onscreen adaptation of Sanjay Baru’s book of the same name, who served as the media adviser to the former Prime Minister.

Written by National Award-winning filmmaker Hansal Mehta, the political drama will also have Akshaye Khanna.

The film is expected to release on December 21.
