1.Rohan Mehra and Ashnoor Kaur

Character: Naira & Naksh

On-screen siblings from the show “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain” have been bonding really well off screen as well. Naksh and Naira played by Rohan Mehra and Ashnoor Kaur , have been on each other’s side ever since they met on the show.

Sharing his excitement of celebrating Rakhi with Ashnoor, Rohan said, “It is like a ritual for us now. I am really fond of Ashnoor and we have had some amazing time while shooting for Yeh Rishta. It feels great that we have managed to stay in touch even after being busy with different things in life. This year I won’t be able to make it to my hometown to celebrate Rakhi with my sister, and when Ashnoor surprised me on the sets, I couldn’t have been happier. I feel very protective towards her like any brother, and she will always be my little sister. I have a special gift for her which will be delivered to her very soon.”

2. Shrenu Parikh and Pankaj Bhatia

Show Together: Havan

Shrenu Parikh who is currently playing the role of Gauri in Star Plus’s popular show “Ishqbaaaz” ties Rakhi to Pankaj Bhatia who is playing Bala in “Yeh Hai Mohabbatein”. Both of them met for the first time on the sets of the TV show ‘Havan’, in which Pankaj was playing Shrenu’s brother-in-law. Shrenu says that ‘Pankaj Bhai started the first conversation and made me comfortable on the set because I was new in the industry that time”.

“Over time, I got very close to Pankaj Bhai. Whenever I missed the house, I used to talk to Pankaj Bhai. That’s why I called him ‘Bhaiya’. After that, I started to ties Rakhi to strengthen the relationship of both of us” said Shrenu.

3. Eijaz Khan and Riima Ramanuj

Show: Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage

Eijaz Khan and Riima Ramanuj play siblings in ‘Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage’, but that bond seems to have transcended the screen-space now. Riima finds Eijaz to be like an elder brother. Says Eijaz, “She messaged me one day, asking if I would be fine with her tying rakhi to me. I was more than happy. She reminds me of my real sister, who is settled overseas. I feel very protective about Riima.”

“She is like a little doll. She is naive and that’s endearing. I pull her leg all the time, just the way a brother would do to a sister.
The audience has also taken to these onscreen siblings in a big way. “We look like real-life siblings. We have our noses up in the air and are self-assured. I would go as far as to say that we are slightly arrogant,” he winks.

4. Aashika Bhatia, Saahil Uppal and Samridh Bawa

Show: Ek Shringaar-Swabhiman

Colors’ TV show “Ek Shringaar-Swabhiman” lead actors Saahil Uppal & Samridh Bawa and their on-screen sister Aashika Bhatia shares good bond in real life too. Within a few days of shooting Aashika come close to Saahil and Samridh. All three have love like real siblings. Aashika ties Rakhi to both of them first time. 

Aashika says, “Our relationship is very strong and beautiful, Saahil and Samridh love me as a little sister, we have a lot of fun on the sets. The strength of our equation is the understanding between us.

5. Gulki Joshia and Chaitanya Choudhry

Show: Parmavatar Shri Krishna

Gulki Joshi and Chaitanya Choudhry playing the roles of Devki and Vasudev, the biological parents of Krishna in &TV’s mythological show “Parmavatar Shri Krishna”. Although playing the role of husband and wife in this legendary show, in real life they are like a siblings.

Gulki says, “Chaitanya and my relationship took a little time to built strong because he is quite calm while I am a hyper, but over time, I realized that we both have very similarities and we are now enjoying each others company. I’m taking Rakhi on the set hoping that she will let me tied the rakhi. Chaitanya is absolutely like a possessive big brother. I know that they are for me for a lifetime now and every year I would like to ties Rakhi to him”.
