Television actress Shweta Tiwari dead? Here’s the truth

Television actress Shweta Tiwari who rose to popularity as Prerna of ‘Kasautii Zindagi Kay’. Well, the actress created a buzz in the industry after reports of her death surfaced on social media.


Recently, their were news doing the rounds that the actress had passed away. However, the reports turned out to be mere hoax.

Now, Shweta’s husband  Abhinav Kohli confirmed that the news about his wife’s death was fake.

While talking to Dailybhaskar.com said, “I got panicked when I got to know about this news. I mean, I had just spoken to her few minutes back and when somebody called me up with this news; I didn’t knew how to react on it. Immediately, I called up Shweta and found her all well. In fact, she started laughing at me. All I want to say is that she is alive and is doing very well.”

Notably, this is the third time that the television actress has been a victim of death hoax. Speaking about the rumors of her death, Shweta stated, “I don’t feel like reacting to such rumors now. Believe it or not, this is the third time people have declared me dead and I have become used to it. Abhinav was the first one to call me up; he was nervous while speaking on phone. I told him to relax and just ignore such baseless rumors. I am very much alive and happily enjoying the evening with my children.”

Apar from Shweta, various celebrities including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Honey Singh, Katrina Kaif, Amitabh Bachchan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Farida Jala and much more who were subjected to death hoaxes, and within no time such fake news is all over the social media which left the readers shocked.

Shweta got married to telly star Abhinav Kohli in 2013 after dating him for three years. The actress gave birth to son Reyansh last year on November 27, 2016. Shweta already had a daughter Palak from her first wedding with Raja Chaudhary, who she divorced in 2007.
