Television actor Kavi Kumar Azad who plays the role of Dr Hansraj Hathi in ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’ breathed his last on July 9.
The sudden demise of the actor has left the TV industry and fans in a state of shock. breathed his last on Monday after suffering a cardiac arrest. The shoot of the show at Film City has been cancelled after the team learnt of this shocking news.
Kavi’s inconsolable parents, who had gone to Lucknow to attend a wedding also arrived at Mumbai. Kavi’s father gets didn’t control himself and cried badly after seeing his son’s dead-body.
And now, the actor has cremated at the Mira Road (East) Crematorium. Meanwhile, the entire team of the show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah reached at the funeral to pay their last respect.
Kavi was playing the role of Dr Haathi on the show for 8 years. Apart from that, the actor has also appeared in movies like Mela, Fun2sh, Jodha Akbar, and Kyon Ki.
The actor was unwell for three days and slipped into a coma last night. He breathed his last an hour ago. He was admitted in Wokhardt Hospital at Mira Road.
