The magnum opus ‘Baahubali 2′ hit the theaters. The film has shattered all records and created history at the Indian box office. But do you know, Prabhas and Rana Daggubati who play the lead stars in the film weren’t Rajamouli’s first choice.
Yes, you heard it right. Prabhas and Rana were not the first choice of Rajamouli. Initially he had planned to make the film in Hindi with two Bollywood actors – Hrithik Roshan and John Abraham.
The film, which has been made in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously has been later dubber in Hindi, Malayalam and many other languages.

Sources claim that SS Rajamouli had sent both John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan the script for Baahubali asking them for a narration time. However, on getting no reverts from them for long, he chose to move ahead and make the movie only in Telugu and Tamil with Prabhas and Rana Daggubati as the lead characters.
Today Baahubali has become India’s biggest movie. Baahubali was a blockbuster and now Baahubali 2 is breaking all the records. From its first day collection of Rs.121 crore its clear that this movie is unstoppable and it is going to be a benchmark in Indian film industry.
We are sure both Hithik and John miss the opportunity of starring in the magnum opus.
