The Sarv Brahmin Mahasabha, a Brahmin outfit has started opposing the release of SLB’s Padmavati, and has ordered to stop the release of the movie. This is not the first time when SLB’s movie is facing legal issues, as the same movie was already opposed by many of the people. But, this time, Kshatriya groups and Karni Sena have demanded that the movie should be screened before their leaders before the actual release of the movie!
Mahasabha state president Suresh Mishra stated that the group would take action against the movie unless its “screening was stopped in keeping with the feelings of the general public”.
“As per the feelings of the general public, screening of this movie should be stopped otherwise the Sarv Brahmin Mahasabha will oppose this movie,” he said.
“They (Bhansali’s team) are trying to defame Padmavati by distorting historical facts. No one can tolerate this,” he added.
Not only these organizations, but even Bhartiya Janta Party is demanding for a pre-release screening of the movie to check if the film doesn’t has any offensive lesson.
And Shri Rajput Karni Sena activists burn posters of maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and his film Padmavati to oppose the screening of the film.
Lets see if the movie releases on its actual release date!
