After the success of Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran and Satyameva Jayate last year, Bollywood star John Abraham came up with another patriotic drama RAW – Romeo Akbar Walter. The makers recently released the trailer of the film.
The trailer opens with Jackie Shroff declaring, “We are on the verge of a war with Pakistan’.
Jackie’s character recruits John’s character, whom he trains to undertake a special mission ‘that could change the course of history for India’. Abraham goes undercover in Pakistan, but finds himself in the the cross hairs of Sikandar Kher’s police officer and Anil George’s fundamentalist cleric.
The actor will presumably be seen in three completely different avatars of Romeo, Akbar and Walter.

John had earlier said that he will sport eight different looks in the film. “I will play everything from a 85-year-old man to a 26-year-old and this is the most challenging role of my life. I get a good nervous energy when I am prepping for a difficult film and RAW is in that space,” he had said.
The film set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971 and is said to be inspired by true events. Apart from John, the film also stars Mouni Roy and Sikander Kher.
Directed by Robbie Grewal and produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures, Dheeraj Wadhwan, Ajay Kapoor, Vanessa Walia, and Gary Grewal, the film is slated to release on April 5.
