Veteran actor Vinod Khanna (70), who had been admitted to HN Reliance Foundation and Research Centre in Girgaon, Mumbai recently, breathed his last on April 27.
The actor, who has been part of several Bollywood projects, was hospitalised due to “severe dehydration”.

A photo of the ailing actor during his treatment in the hospital had gone viral on social media . The photograph in question had shocked the actor’s fans, well wishers and his colleagues in the film industry.
Vinod, a sitting Bharatiya Janata Party MP from Gurdaspur district of Punjab, was born on 6 October, 1946. He was seen in 141 films between 1968 and 2013.
Vinod was survived by his wife Kavita Khanna, sons Rahul, Akshaye and Sakshi, and daughter Shraddha Khanna.
