As #MeToo movement gets start in bollywood. Several women came out in open and reveals the shocking details about their sexual harassment story.
It all started after Tanushree Dutta accused Nana Patekar of sexual harassing her on the sets of Horn Ok Please in 2008. Not only Nana Patekar, several prominent personalities name have come under the scanner.
Amid all this filmmaker Sajid Khan and actor Nana Patekar who were busy in the shooting of Housefull 4 has stepped away from the film.
Sajid Khan took to Twitter to announce his stepping away from Housefull 4 and wrote – “In the wake of the allegations against me and the pressure being put on my family, my producer and the stars of the film Housefull 4, I must take the moral responsibility of stepping down from my directorial post, till the time I can allay the allegations and prove the truth. I request my friends in the media to kindly not pass judgment till the truth is out.”
After Sajid, now Nana has decided to leave the film. A statement was released by his son, Malhar Nana Patekar, in which it is mentioned that the veteran actor has taken the decision for ‘everybody’s convenience’.
The statement sent to the media read, “Nana saheb thought of the convenience of everybody as he wishes the best for the producer & the crew & hence felt that stepping out of the project would be an appropriate thing to do at this point of time”.
Both the actor’s statement came after Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to say, “I have requested the producers of Housefull 4 to cancel the shoot until further investigation. I will not work with any proven offenders, and all those who have been subjected to harassment should be heard and given the justice they deserve.”

Several Bollywood personalities such as directors Subhash Ghai, Vikas Bahl and Rajat Kapoor, actors such as Alok Nath and singers such as Kailash Kher and Abhijeet have been named in India’s #MeToo movement.
