As per the sources of the portal, “Shruti will be seen in a very different and modern look. Though a Punjabi, she will believe in posing to be a woman who is very up market. Even though she would not know English, she will deliberately want to speak in English, which will create comic relief. Her character will be cute and full of life.”

While confirming her entry, Shruti told the portal, “Yes, I have started shooting for ‘Naamkarann’. It is a very interesting role, very different from what I have played recently.”

Shruti Ulfat is known for her role ‘Sasural Genda Phool’, ‘Shrimaan Shrimati’, ‘Jamai Raja’, ‘Thoda Hai Thode Ki Zarurat Hai’ and ‘Nagarjun – Ek Yoddha’.
