TV actor Ssharad Malhotra and Divyanka Tripathi left many fans heartbroken when they parted ways on a bitter note after years of togetherness. But gradually, things changed when Divyanka found love again in her “Yeh Hai Mohabbatein” co-star Vivek Dahiya and walked down the aisle with him.
Few months back, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya has appeared on Rajeev Khandelwal’s show ‘Juzzbaatt’. On the show, the actress gets emotional while talking about her break-up with the actor.
When Rajeev asked Divyanka “heart break ne kya le liya?” To which, Divyanka replies “8 saal, uss samay aisa lag raha tha jaise zindagi khatam ho rahi hai, mein andhvishwas ke level par chali gayi.” The actress almost breaks down in tears while talking about it.

And now, in an interview with Bombay Times, when Ssharad was asked about Divyanka getting emotional while talking about him, he stated, “There’s not much I can say except that it was a beautiful relationship. But when the word ‘marriage’ popped up, I developed cold feet. It was a long time ago and I was quite immature. One gradually matures with time and experience. Yes, I have made mistakes. As human beings, we all make mistakes. I realise that now but unfortunately, it’s five years down the line. I should have realised it then, but no hard feelings. We have both moved on. She looks very happy and I wish her the very best.”
The actor was asked if exes could be friends. He said, “Surely. Why can’t exes be friends? Not immediately maybe, but after a certain amount of time.” He was also asked if he is friends with his exes. To which he said, “I would love to (laughs). It would be nice to see how their lives are now, of course, without intruding much.”
Post split with Divyanka Tripathi, Ssharad was in a relationship with Pooja Bisht. However, his relationship ended around six months back. The actress alleged that he did not wish to marry her stating some differences in their astrological charts.
