Well, the pretty lady has changes her name to Deepa. Yes, the actress posted a selfie on her Instagram handle and announced that her name is now Deepa.

While talking to Spotboye, the actress also reveals the reason behind keeping this name. She said, “My mom suggested the idea. She wanted me to keep a simple and homely name and we went with Deepa.”
She further added, “It’s my nickname. I was born on Deepawali and instantly everyone said that Laxmi has come home. Post that everyone began calling me that. It was a name given from the heart without thinking too much. It feels very personal when someone calls me Deepa. Letting this name become my official name feels very nice.”
Daljeet is mainly recognised for her role of Anjali Jha in the serial “Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon”. She made her television debut with Manshaa which followed by appearances in C.I.D., Aahat and Raat Hone Ko Hai.
