This actress roped in to play grown-up ‘Kashibai’ in ‘Peshwa Bajirao’

Sony TV’s historical saga, ‘Peshwa Bajirao’ has managed to not only garner rave reviews for the presentation of the saga, but has also been appreciated for the actors’ fantastic performances. Very soon, show will take a huge leap and cast of the show will change.

Earlier, we told you that actor Karan Suchak who is popular for doing mythological shows like “Siya Ke Ram” and “Mahabharat” will play the grown-up Bajirao post leap and here are some other developments on the show.

According to latest reports, actress, Ishita Ganguly who was last seen in Colors TV show ‘Shastri Sisters’ has been roped in to play the grown-up Kashi in the show.

Confirming the news to leading portal, Ishita said “Kashibai is an iconic historical figure, and I feel fortunate to have bagged the part. The child artistes have done a swell job and the viewers are used to watching them. So, I find it extremely challenging to step into their shoes. I will try my level best to do justice to the role.”

Currently, child actor Rudra Soni is playing the role of Bajirao and Dipali Borkar is playing the role of ‘Kashibai’.
