When ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ fame Cezanne Khan left the show for this reason!


Cezanne Khan came into limelight by playing the lead role of Anurag Basu in Ekta Kapoor’s daily soap Kasautii Zindagii Kay. His role was liked by the people. Now, the actor again hitting the headlines after many years. 

Well, the actor has been approached for Bigg Boss 11. However, the official announcement is still awaited.

According to reports, Cezanne was born in Mumbai in a Muslim family. His father is Ustad Rais Khan, a famous sitarist in Pakistan. His mother, Tasnim Khan, is an interior designer, whose family also resides in Karachi, Pakistan. His brother, Suhail Khan, is a singer, composer and a sitar player. Cezanne’s family lives in Karachi.

During his college days, he was involved with modelling and then theatre. After Khan completed his B.Com, he was supposed to join NMIMS (Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies) for MBA when he was offered a film.  This film never released but it made him leave his MBA to pursue a career in acting.

It is being said that, he did not get much work in TV and Bollywood, so he returned to Pakistan. Then he started working in Pakistani serial– Piya Ke Ghar Jaana Hai, Silsilay Chahat Ke and Gulnaar Bano (guest appearance).

Cezanne started his television career ‘Hasratein’ on Zee TV. After that he appeared in many more serials. But, he had gained immense popularity from ‘Kasautii Zindagi Kay’. But, he left the show due to double leap in the serial as he did not want to perform the role of grand father. That’s why he quit the show.

This serial was over in 2007. In June 2007 Khan entered Sony TV’s Ek Ladki Anjaani Si as Dr. Dhruv Mehra. During this show, Cezanne ‘s food pipe got blocked. Than, he was admitted to the hospital for 8 days. After surgery, doctors advised him to take rest.

Now, the actor has been approached for Bigg Boss 11. However, the official announcement is still awaited.
