Wow! Indraneil Sengupta to play a pivotal cameo in ‘Ghulaam’

TV actor Indraneil Sengupta will be seen making a cameo in Saurabh Tewari’s upcoming show, ‘Ghulam’ on Life OK.

As per sources, “This will be a very short stint (of few days) but an important one. Indraneil will play the lover of the character (parallel lead) to be played by Sarika Dhillon. He will be a detective cop.”

When contacted, Indraneil confirmed the news stating, “Yes, it is a very short role”.

“I share a good rapport with Saurabh Tewari as I had done a look test for him once but unfortunately the show never took off,” Indraneil said in a statement.

So this time when he got a call from them to do a cameo in “Ghulaam”, he couldn’t say no.

“I couldn’t say no as even though it is a small role. It, however, is a crucial and an important part of the story.”

Indraneil will be seen essaying the role of a “Commando” in the Life Ok show. He says he hasn’t “worked before with any of the actors so it would be a different experience”.

Indraneil discussed his role with his wife and actress Barkha Bisht before signing up.

Asked if he wanted his role to be extended in the show, he said: “If it happens, good. If it does not, I am ok. I have no expectations.”
