How he got his first break
During his struggling days, Ronit used to take time off from his work and used to do modeling and from here he found his way of acting. He gave audition and director Deepak Balraj have him offer of the film “Jaan Tere Naam”. The film was a commercial success but even after this Ronit didn’t get work for four and a half years.

Get work on small screen
Ronit received a call from Balaji Telefilms to offer him a part in the television serial Kammal. Due to lack of any appealing movie offers, he accepted the offer from Balaji Telefilms. Balaji Telefilms also offered Ronit an 8-week cameo in Kasautii Zindagii Kay as Rishabh Bajaj, a ruthless yet suave middle aged business tycoon. Ronit’s impressive performance as Mr.Bajaj made him popular and landed him in Balaji Telefilms’ Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as Mihir Virani replacing Amar Upadhyay. This character made him small screen Amitabh Bachchan. Ronit takes a fees of Rs 1.25 lakhs per day and shoots for only 15 days in a month.
Ronit runs his own security agency
Ronit owns Ace Security and Protection agency. This company provides security to many celebs like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Mithun Chakraborty etc. Ronit Roy himself was responsible for Aamir’s security for two years. He also provided personal protection to Hrithik Roshan during his debut film, Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. Ronit also provided security to Amitabh Bachchan. Ronit shares a great bond with Amitabh and both of them will soon be seen in Sarkar 3.
